Ra'fat Ali
Ra'fat Ali Jabr ( ar, رأفت علي جبر) (born 20 May 1975) is a Jordanian retired footballer of Palestinian origin. He is the current assistant manager of Al-Wehdat. He was nicknamed The Artist and Picasso due to his skillful plays, mainly assists and goal scoring. Coming through the youth system, Ra'fat Ali debuted for the senior side of Al-Wehdat on 1993 where he was able to attract admiration from the fans quickly, despite the fact that the team was filled with big stars, through time Rafat establishing himself as one of the best players in Jordan. Mafraq ( ar, المفرق ''Al-Mafraq'', local dialects: ''Mafrag'' or ''Mafra''; ) is the capital city of Mafraq Governorate in Jordan, located 80 km to the north from the capital Amman in crossroad to Syria to the north and Iraq to the east. It had 56,340 inhabitants in 2004. History Mafraq was first settled in the 4th century BC. It is located about 17 km west of the historic Nabataeans, Nabataean and Byzantine Empire, Byzantine town of Umm el-Jimal, which was built in the 1st century. The city was first named "Fudain", which comes from the word for fortress in Arabic. The city gained significant importance after the establishment of the Hejaz Railway connecting Istanbul to Medina. Adnan Mohammad Awad Al-Shuaibat (born 15 February 1973), known as Adnan Awad, is a Jordanian footballer, who played as a defender for Al-Faisaly (Amman), which he currently coaches, and the Jordan national football team.
