Mansar, Pakistan
Mansar (Urdu: مانسر ) is a town in the Chach Valley of Attock District in Punjab (Pakistan), Punjab Province, Pakistan. It is located close to bank of the Indus River, and the Azad Kashmir Regiment is located close to this village. Demographics Mansar's population is exclusively Muslim, and mostly belong to Awan (Pakistan), Awan, Maliar, Malyaar, Mughal (tribe), Mughal, Shaikh and Pathans. Shrines The shrines of the Sufi saint Sin Kalo Baba (سائیں کلو بابا), revered for his piety, and his disciple Sayyad Anwar Shah (سید انور شاہ) are also present in Mansar. Chhachh
Chhachh or Chach (Hindko and ur, چھچھ ) is a region located between Peshawar and Islamabad at the northern tip of Attock, consisting of an alluvial plain extending from Attock District of Punjab, Pakistan, southwest of Topi and Swabi. It is bounded on the north and west by the Indus river and is about long (from east to west) and broad. Percolation from the Indus makes the area extremely fertile. The population of the area is primarily Hindko and Pashto speakers. History Chach has been identified as the Chukhsa country of the Taxila copper plate inscription. The Battle of Chach was fought in 1008 AD between the Ghaznavid army of Sultan Mahmud of Ghazni and the Hindu Shahi army of Anandapala, resulting in the latter's defeat. Azad Kashmir Regiment
The Azad Kashmir Regiment, also known as AK Regt, is one of the six infantry regiments in the Pakistan Army. The regiment takes its name from Azad Kashmir, which is the Pakistani-administered territory of the Kashmir region. As per the order of seniority, it is the fourth regiment, but was the first to be raised after the independence of Pakistan from British colonial rule. Its regimental Centre is located at Mansar camp in Attock District, on the border of Punjab and KPK provinces. The regiment has participated in all major and minor operations and wars fought by the army. Fixed telephony The area codes in Pakistan consists of two to five digits; generally smaller the city, longer the prefix. All large cities have two-digit codes. The smaller towns might have six digital whereas big cities have seven digit numbers. Azad Kashmir telephone lines contain five digits. On 1 July 2009, telephone numbers in Karachi and Lahore were changed from seven digits to eight digits. This was accomplished by adding 9 to the beginning of all phone numbers that started with a 9 i.e. government and semi-government lines and adding 3 to all other lines.
