Manon Charette
Manon Charette (March 14, 1955 in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada – January 1, 2006 in Richmond, British Columbia) was a Canadian handball player who competed in the 1976 Summer Olympics. She was part of the Canadian handball team, which finished sixth in the 1976 Olympic tournament. She played all five matches and scored three goals. For many years, Charette worked at St. Paul's Hospital Foundation, as Director of Finance. Salaberry-de-Valleyfield
Salaberry-de-Valleyfield is a city in southwestern Quebec, Canada, in the Regional County Municipality of Beauharnois-Salaberry. The population as of 2019 was 42,410. Situated on Grande-Île, an island in the Saint Lawrence River, it is bordered at its western end by Lake Saint Francis, with the Saint Lawrence to the north and the Beauharnois Canal to its south. Cancer is a group of diseases involving abnormal cell growth with the potential to invade or spread to other parts of the body. These contrast with benign tumors, which do not spread.
