Manoir-des-Trembles–Val-Tétreau District
Manoir-des-Trembles–Val-Tétreau District (District 6) is a municipal electoral division in the city of Gatineau, Quebec. It is currently served on Gatineau City Council by Jocelyn Blondin. The district is located in the Hull and Aylmer sectors of the city. The district includes the western part of Hull, including the neighbourhoods of Birch Manor (Manoir-des-Trembles), Jardins-Alexandre-Taché, Val-Tétreau, Jardins-Mackenzie-King and part of Wrightville. The district was created for the 2013 election from parts of Plateau–Manoir-des-Trembles District and Hull–Val-Tétreau District. Gatineau City Council
The Gatineau City Council (french: Conseil municipal de Gatineau) is the governing body for the mayor–council government in the city of Gatineau, Quebec, Canada. It is composed of 20 city councillors and the mayor. The mayor is elected at large, while each of the councillors represent districts throughout the city. Birch Manor
A birch is a thin-leaved deciduous hardwood tree of the genus ''Betula'' (), in the family Betulaceae, which also includes alders, hazels, and hornbeams. It is closely related to the beech-oak family Fagaceae. The genus ''Betula'' contains 30 to 60 taxonomy of Betula, known taxa of which 11 are on the IUCN Red List, IUCN 2011 Red List of Threatened Species. Gatineau ( ; ) is a city in western Quebec, Canada. It is located on the northern bank of the Ottawa River, immediately across from Ottawa, Ontario. 2021 Gatineau Municipal Election
A municipal election was held in Gatineau, Quebec, Canada on November 7, 2021, in conjunction with the 2021 Quebec municipal elections held on the same day. Elections will be held for Mayor of Gatineau as well as for each of the 19 districts on Gatineau City Council. Mayor Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin announced he would not be running for re-election.
