Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) is a radio and television network in the Philippines. MBC is currently owned by the FJE Group of Companies of Fred J. Elizalde, which also operates hotels and Pasay-based amusement park Star City. Its AM flagship network, DZRH is the oldest radio station in the country while its FM broadcasting, FM flagship network, Love Radio Network, Love Radio is the top station in FM radio ratings in Metro Manila (until 2017, and again in 2020) and several key cities. Pacific Broadcasting System (PBSI) is a radio broadcast company in the Philippines. It is part of the FJE Group of Companies of the Elizalde family, which also operates hotels and Pasay-based amusement park Star City. Pacific Broadcasting's stations are being operated by Elizalde-owned TV and radio network Manila Broadcasting Company. Most of its AM stations in key provinces are relay stations of DZRH, while its flagship AM station is DXGO, a radio station in Davao City broadcasting as Aksyon Radyo Davao. DZRH News Television
DZRH News Television, stylized as DZRHTV, is a Philippine pay television news channel owned by Manila Broadcasting Company. Its programs are primarily from MBC's flagship radio station DZRH and station-produced programs, occupied by the timeslots of radio dramas. DZRH News Television is the second free-to-air channel that re-broadcasts news from a radio station, after DZMM launched its own TV channel, while other stations soon followed such as DZRJ (for Radyo Bandido TV), DWIZ (for IZTV) and Radyo5 92.3 News FM (for One PH). Love Radio is a broadcast FM radio network in the Philippines owned by Manila Broadcasting Company. Its headquarters are located at Cultural Center of the Philippine Complex, Pasay, Manila. The network's original format is easy-listening until 2000 when Love Radio shifted to Contemporary MOR or more popularly known as the ''masa'' format. DZRH (666 AM) is a radio station owned and operated by Manila Broadcasting Company, which serves as the flagship station. AM Broadcasting
AM broadcasting is radio broadcasting using amplitude modulation (AM) transmissions. It was the first method developed for making audio radio transmissions, and is still used worldwide, primarily for medium wave (also known as "AM band") transmissions, but also on the longwave and shortwave radio bands. The earliest experimental AM transmissions began in the early 1900s.
