Manglerud Star Ishockey, commonly known as Manglerud Star and abbreviated as MS, is a Norway, Norwegian ice hockey team based in Oslo, Norway. They currently play in the GET-ligaen, after replacing the bankrupt Rosenborg IHK in the summer of 2014. Manglerud Star was founded in 1967 and was promoted to the top division in 1973. The club enjoyed a spell of success in the late 1970s, winning two national championships, to date the club's only trophies. In modern times, the club is still widely regarded to have one of the best youth academies in Norwegian hockey. Manglerud play their home games at Manglerudhallen. Oslo

Manglerud Star Toppfotball
Manglerud Star Fotball is an association football club based in Oslo, Norway. It is part of the multi-sport club Manglerud Star. The club was established in its current form on December 14, 2005 after a merger between Manglerud Star Fotball and Fotballklubben Oslo Øst, the latter of which originally formed in 2000. Manglerud Star Fotball went bankrupt on April 4, 2011, and withdrew all their teams from competition; the club was refounded in 2013. History FK Oslo Øst (Oslo East) were founded on January 1, 2000. Five minor football clubs from the eastern part of Oslo decided to pool their resources into a single elite team, under the presumption that this one team would fare better at the higher levels of Norwegian football than what any of the clubs could ever achieve on their own. Mats Trygg
Mats Trygg (born June 1, 1976) is a Norwegian ice hockey defenceman. He currently plays with the Vålerenga Ishockey of the Norwegian GET-ligaen. Playing career He started his senior career with Spektrum Flyers in 1994 and played two seasons before signing with Manglerud Star in 1996. He stayed there for three seasons. In 1999 he signed with the Swedish Elitserien club Färjestad and won the Swedish Championship with them in 2002. He played there for six seasons, before moving to Germany and the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In 2005, he joined his best friend and fellow national team player, Martin Knold, playing for Iserlohn Roosters. He stayed only a single season with the Roosters, before getting signed by Kölner Haie in the same league. After four seasons in Cologne, he moved to Hamburg and the Freezers in 2010. Jørn Goldstein
Jørn Irving Goldstein (born March 27, 1953) is a Norwegian Olympic ice hockey player. Biography Goldstein was born in Oslo, Norway, and is Jewish. His mother's family, surname Schapow, immigrated to Norway from Lithuania in the early 1900s. His father, Otto Goldstein, arrived in 1947 from Germany, a Holocaust survivor who survived and was liberated in World War II from Nazi Germany's concentration camps. The family eventually moved to Ila, Trondheim. As an 18-year old Goldstein joined Manglerud Star Ishockey, and became the team's goalkeeper. Goldstein played for the Norway men's national ice hockey team, Norwegian national ice hockey team, and participated at the Winter Olympics in 1984. Ishockeyklubben Sparta Sarpsborg, commonly referred to as the Sparta Warriors, is a Norwegian ice hockey team based in Sarpsborg, Norway. They currently play in the GET League.
