Ern Manea
Ernest Cosmo Manea (23 December 1926 – 16 October 2013) was a prominent figure in the city of Bunbury, Western Australia. He was the mayor of Bunbury from 1966 to 1972 and again from 1988 to 1997, making him the city's longest-serving mayor. He worked as a general practitioner and was a patron, board member, chairman or president of over 300 organisations. Early life Manea was born in Albany, Western Australia, on 23 December 1926. He was of Irish and Greek descent. He completed secondary education by the time he was 15, having skipped several years of school. Career Manea studied medicine at the University of Western Australia and the University of Adelaide, and then took an internship at Royal Perth Hospital. Rareş-Iulian Manea (born July 20, 1986) is a Romanian endurance sports athlete. Manea was born in Zărneşti, and is member of ''BIKE-MANIA TEAM. He started ski mountaineering in 2003, and participated in the same year in first competition, the ''Piatra Craiului Trophy''. Norman Manea (; born July 19, 1936), is a Romanian Jewish writer and author of short fiction, novels, and essays about the Holocaust, daily life in a communist state, and exile. He lives in the United States, where he is a Professor and writer in residence at Bard College. He left Romania in 1986 with a DAAD-Berlin Grant and in 1988 went to the US with a Fulbright Scholarship at the Catholic University in Washington DC. Cristian Marian Manea (; born 9 August 1997) is a Romanian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Liga I club CFR Cluj and the Romania national team. Manea started out as a senior at Viitorul Constanța in 2014, and moved to Apollon Limassol during that summer. He did not feature in any games for the Cypriots, being loaned out consecutively to Viitorul, Mouscron, CFR Cluj, FCSB and again CFR Cluj.
