''X Factor Malta'' is the Maltese version of the British television music competition ''The X Factor'', created by Simon Cowell. The first season premiered on 7 October 2018 and has since been broadcast on Television Malta. Sigmund Mifsud is a trumpeter, musical director, arranger, and concert producer from Malta. Education and early years Sigmund Mifsud began his musical education playing the trumpet with the Sliema Band Club at age 11, and he continued his study of music theory and orchestration with Mro. Anthony Chircop at the Johann Strauss School of Music in Valletta. Mifsud then studied harmony and counterpoint for three years with Maltese composer Mro. Carmelo Pace. At age 16, he collaborated with Mro. Paul Borg in practical sessions on trumpet playing, and later continued to work on advanced harmony and orchestration. Floriana
Floriana ( mt, Il-Furjana or ''Il-Floriana''), also known by its title Borgo Vilhena, is a fortified town in the South Eastern Region area of Malta, just outside the capital city Valletta. Robert Samut Hall
The Robert Samut Hall is a late 19th-century defunct Methodism, Methodist church, formerly named Wesleyan (Methodist) Church, now a state owned building in Floriana, Malta. Origins The current Gothic Revival architecture, Neo-Gothic church was built between 1881 and 1883 on designs by architect Thomas Mullet Ellis. It was opened for worship on 18 March 1883. It was the first building in Malta to make use of electricity. Secularised The church was given to the government in the early 1970s. On 4 April 1975, the building was inaugurated as a centre for cultural activities and renamed Robert Samut Hall. The hall houses an interesting 2 manual pneumatic Willis organ. The dynamic vocal tone of Maltese born performer Amber became widely recognized following her representation of Malta in the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest. Jonas Gladnikoff (born 11 January 1985) is a Swedish songwriter and music producer. Born in Täby, he began songwriting at an early age. Later in life he moved to Åland in Finland before eventually moving to Stockholm. He has written several songs for singers from across Europe, but is best known for writing entries for the Eurovision Song Contest and for various national pre-selections. He studied songwriting at the Music Production Academy Musikmakarna, graduating in 2006. In 2009 he co-wrote the song that represented Ireland.
