Malfador Machinations
Malfador Machinations was a small game company based in Santa Rosa, California. They were best known for their ''Space Empires'' series. Brief history Malfador Machinations was created by Aaron Hall to publish '' Space Empires II'', the sequel to his self-produced 4X game, ''Space Empires'', which was released two years earlier in 1993. Space Empires II was a strong success, often being included in limited form in shareware collections, including Romtech's best selling ''Galaxy of Games'' series. On September 6, 2002 Malfador Machinations broke with its reputation for space themed games by releasing a hack-n-slash role-playing game entitled '' Dungeon Odyssey'', but this was not as successful as the ''Space Empires'' games and never received a sequel. On April 5, 2006, Malfador Machinations was acquired by Strategy First. Malfador's last game was ''Space Captain'', which was released to the Google Play store in 2014. While it continued many concepts from the Space Empires ser ...

Space Empires IV
''Space Empires IV'' is a turn-based 4X strategy computer game developed by Malfador Machinations and published by Strategy First as part of the ''Space Empires'' series in which players control an alien race in an attempt at galactic conquest. Gameplay The gameplay is similar to ''Civilization'' style games in the sense that one controls the overall organization of the alien race on a scale far above that of controlling individual persons. Combat is not necessitated by the game itself and players are free to engage in political negotiations with their rivals. The mechanics of the game allow players to either improve their planets' resource production through the construction of facilities or build more ships with which to defend their empires. There are multiple ways that players can conquer other empires, depending on the setting enabled by the player during set up. The most direct way is destroying the colonies and home world of their rivals using ever more devastating w ...

World Supremacy
In its most general sense, the term "world" refers to the totality of entities, to the whole of reality or to everything that is. The nature of the world has been conceptualized differently in different fields. Some conceptions see the world as unique while others talk of a "plurality of worlds". Some treat the world as one simple object while others analyze the world as a complex made up of many parts. In ''scientific cosmology'' the world or universe is commonly defined as " e totality of all space and time; all that is, has been, and will be". '' Theories of modality'', on the other hand, talk of possible worlds as complete and consistent ways how things could have been. ''Phenomenology'', starting from the horizon of co-given objects present in the periphery of every experience, defines the world as the biggest horizon or the "horizon of all horizons". In ''philosophy of mind'', the world is commonly contrasted with the mind as that which is represented by the mind. ''Th ...
