Malcolm Rodrigo was a Sri Lankan cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-pace bowler who played for Antonians. Cricket
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The batting side scores runs by striking the ball bowled at one of the wickets with the bat and then running between the wickets, while the bowling and fielding side tries to prevent this (by preventing the ball from leaving the field, and getting the ball to either wicket) and dismiss each batter (so they are "out"). Bowling, in cricket, is the action of propelling the ball toward the wicket defended by a batter. A player skilled at bowling is called a ''bowler''; a bowler who is also a competent batter is known as an all-rounder. Thusara Prabath Kodikara (born 17 November 1969) is a former Sri Lankan international cricketer who represented the Malaysian national team between 2004 and 2009. He was born in Sri Lanka, and played first-class cricket there in the 1990s before emigrating to Malaysia. Kodikara played as an all-rounder, batting right-handed and bowling right-arm medium pace.
