Malanje is the capital city of Malanje Province in Angola, with a population of 455,000 (2014 census), and a municipality, with a population of 506,847 (2014 census). Projected to be the thirteenth fastest growing city on the African continent between 2020 and 2025, with a 5.17% growth. It is located east of Angola's capital Luanda. Near it are the spectacular Calandula waterfalls, the rock formations of Pungo Andongo, and the Capanda Dam. Segundona aka Torneio de Apuramento ''(Qualification Tournament)'' or Gira Angola is the 2nd division of Angolan football (soccer). It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation and gives access to Angola's top tier football division Girabola. Unlike most league systems worldwide, Angola does not have a regular second-tier league system. The teams that are relegated from the top-tier league in Angola, the Girabola, are relegated to the provincial championship from which they originate, the so-called provincial stages. The champion of each provincial championship automatically qualifies to the Segundona, the league or tournament that qualifies to the Girabola. The 2014 Segundona was the 20th season of the second-tier football league in Angola. The season runs from 27 July to November, 2014. Académica do Lobito the current league champions, were promoted to the 2015 Girabola. The league comprises 3 series of 6, 5 and 6 teams with the winner of each series being promoted to the 2015 Girabola. Girabola, or ''Campeonato Nacional de Futebol em Séniores Masculinos'', is the top division of Angolan football. It is organized by the Angolan Football Federation. The league winner and runner-up qualify for the CAF Champions League. Girabola ZAP In January 2016, Angolan subscription TV satellite and cable provider ZAP, the Angolan Football Federation and the Girabola clubs, signed a three-year deal in which ZAP will have broadcast rights over all Girabola matches. As part of the deal, the Angolan state-owned TV station TPA will be allowed to broadcast one game per week on its free-view platform.
