Malam Wakili (born 1958) is a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from Bauchi State and retired controller of customs. He represented south Bauchi in the current 8th National Assembly before his death on March 17, 2018. Suleiman Nazif
Sulaiman Mohammed Nazif (born 14 April 1970) was elected Senator for the Bauchi North constituency of Bauchi State, Nigeria, taking office on 29 May 2007. He was elected on the Action Congress (AC) platform. Nazif attended the Federal Polytechnic Staff School, Bauchi (1981–1983), the Nigerian Military School (1983–1988) and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, graduating in 1990 as an Engineer. Adamu Gumba
Ibrahim Adamu Gumba (born 10 October 1948) is a Nigerian politician who was elected Senator for the Bauchi South constituency of Bauchi State, Nigeria in the April 2011 national elections. He ran on the People's Democratic Party (PDP) ticket. Gumba was born on 10 October 1948. He obtained a BSc in Government. He worked in Nigeria Customs Service, where he rose to the position of Deputy Comptroller General. Gumba became Head of the Bauchi State Civil Service. In 2006, he was appointed the Commissioner of Education in Bauchi State. Bauchi (earlier Yakoba) is a city in northeast Nigeria, the Administrative center of Bauchi State, of the Bauchi Local Government Area within that State, and of the traditional Bauchi Emirate. It is located on the northern edge of the Jos Plateau, at an elevation of 616 m. The Local Government Area covers an area of 3,687 km2 and had a population of 493,810 in 2006. All Progressive Congress
The All Progressives Congress (APC) is one of the two major contemporary political parties in Nigeria, along with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Founded on 6 February 2013 from a merger of Nigeria's three largest opposition parties, the party came to power following the victory of party candidate Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 presidential election. Bauchi State

Lawal Yahaya Gumau (born 26 August 1968) is Nigerian politician who is currently serving as a Senator from Bauchi South Senatorial District. Prior to becoming a senator, Gumau served for two terms in House of Representatives representing the Toro Constituency. He became a Senator by winning 119,489 votes to defeat his closest rival, Ladan Salihu of the Peoples Democratic Party, who received 50,256 votes to win a 2018 by-election due to the death of Senator Malam Wakili.
