Majda Potokar
Majda Potokar (1 March 1930 – 25 April 2001) was a Slovenian film and theatre actress. Daughter of actor Lojze Potokar, she graduated in 1952 from the Ljubljana Theatre, Radio, Film and Television Academy. Before graduation she appeared in her first role in the 1948 film '' On Our Own Land'', the first ever Slovenian feature film directed by France Ĺ tiglic. Potokar was member of the Ljubljana National Drama Theatre ensemble during her entire career from late 1952 to 1990. Majda Sepe, born Majda Bernard, (2 July 1937 – 11 April 2006) was one of the most successful and well recognized Slovenian singers in the time of Yugoslavia and was one of the most renowned singers of the Golden Age of Slovenian folk music. Biography Early life Her mother fled the Primorska region because of Italian Fascism, her father was from Skofja Loka, a town near Ljubljana. They lived together in Ljubljana where he worked as an ambulance driver and she was a clerk. Their first child was a boy they named Marjan, who wanted a baby sister. 4 years later he also got one. Majda Bernard was born July 2, 1937 in Ljubljana. The family lived on the Ljubljana Castle. Majda Ra'ad (born Margaretha Inga Elisabeth Lind on 5 September 1942) is a Swedish-born Jordanian member of the Hashemite House who is the wife of Prince Ra'ad bin Zeid, the current pretender to the defunct Kingdom of Iraq and Syria and the Lord Chamberlain of Jordan. She is a Jordanian princess by marriage and a member of the House of Hashem.
