Maison Radio-Canada
Maison Radio-Canada (English: ''CBC House'') is the broadcast headquarters, studios and master control for all French-language radio and television services of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (known in French as ''Société Radio-Canada''/SRC) including its flagship station CBFT-DT. It is also the main studio for Montreal's local English-language CBC services (CBMT-DT, CBME-FM, and CBM-FM) and the headquarters of Radio Canada International, the CBC's digital international broadcasting service. The street address of Maison Radio-Canada is 1400 René Lévesque Boulevard East, named for former premier René Lévesque who was once a reporter and commentator for the CBC. René-Lévesque Boulevard
René-Lévesque is a provincial electoral district in the Côte-Nord region of Quebec, Canada, which elects members to the National Assembly of Quebec. It notably includes the municipalities of Baie-Comeau, Forestville and Pointe-Lebel as well as the reserve of Pessamit. It was created for the 1948 election under the name Saguenay from part of the former Charlevoix-Saguenay electoral district. The predecessor to Charlevoix-Saguenay (before 1912) was Chicoutimi-Saguenay. Despite its former name, the district has not included the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region since at least the 1994 election. Réseau des sports (RDS), is a Canadian French language specialty channel oriented towards sports and sport-related shows. It is available in 2.5 million homes, and is owned by CTV Specialty Television Inc. (Bell Media 80% and ESPN 20%). Its full name (usually prefaced in speech by the French article "le") translates as "The Sports Network", the name of its Anglophone counterpart, TSN. "Faubourg" () is an ancient French term historically equivalent to " fore-town" (now often termed suburb or ). The earliest form is , derived from Latin , 'out of', and Vulgar Latin (originally Germanic) , 'town' or 'fortress'. Beaudry Station
Beaudry is a Montreal Metro station in the borough of Ville-Marie, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. It is operated by the Société de transport de Montréal (STM) and serves the Green Line. It is in Montreal's Gay Village, part of the Centre-Sud district. Although part of the original network of the Metro, it opened two months after the rest of the network, on December 21, 1966. The CBC Ottawa Production Centre is the headquarters of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. The office and studio complex is located on Queen Street in downtown Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The building hosts the originating studios for both the CBC's English and French language operations in the National Capital Region. CFTM-DT (channel 10) is a television station in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, serving as the flagship of the French-language TVA network. Owned by Groupe TVA, the station has studios on Boulevard de Maisonneuve East and Rue Alexandre de Sève in the Ville-Marie borough of Montreal, and its transmitter is located on Voie Camillien Houde (near Mount Royal). TVA is a Canadian French-language terrestrial television network, owned by Groupe TVA, a publicly traded subsidiary of Quebecor Media.
