X Clan (formerly stylized as XCLAN and often incorrectly spelled X-Clan) is a hip hop group from Brooklyn, New York, originally consisting of Grand Verbalizer Funkin' Lesson Brother J, Professor X the Overseer, Paradise the Architect, and Sugar Shaft the Rhythm Provider. The current incarnation of the group features leader Brother J, Master China, Kumu, "Ultraman" Ra Hanna, ACL, Lord Cza, DJ Fat Jack and Zulu. Suburban Noize Records, also known as "Subnoize", is an independent record label based in Burbank, California that specializes in punk rock and hip hop music. The label was founded in 1997 by the Kottonmouth Kings' vocalist Daddy X and Kevin Zinger.- History A majority of the label's merchandise and album sales are via the Internet and merchandising booths at live performances. The label relies heavily on word of mouth and underground promotion techniques. A feud in 2013 between the label's founders, Daddy X and Kevin Zinger, put the label in limbo for a few years. ''Return from Mecca'' is the title of the reunion 3rd album from Hip Hop group X Clan, released on January 30, 2007. This is the group's first studio album in 15 years since 1992's ''Xodus''. A music video was made of the single "Weapon X." Contributors X Clan originally consisted of four members, Brother J, Professor X, Sugar Shaft and Paradise the Architect. Sugar Shaft died in 1995 because of complications from AIDS, and Professor X died in early 2006 because of complications from spinal meningitis, leaving only two of the original members. Bun B
Bernard James Freeman (born March 19, 1973), known professionally as Bun B, is an American rapper. He is best known as one half of the southern rap duo UGK (UnderGround Kingz), a group he formed in 1987 alongside Pimp C. Aside from his work with UGK, Bun B has released five solo albums, including 2010's ''Trill OG'', which received the rare 5-mic rating from ''The Source''. He is also a guest lecturer at Rice University, located in Houston, Texas. Life and career Freeman was born in Port Arthur, Texas where he met Pimp C, and was raised in the city of Houston, Texas, where he met Slim Thug. UGK In the late 1980s, Pimp C started the rap duo UGK. He first released a demo tape titled "Underground King" which didn't feature Bun B on the track. Reco Price (born April 23, 1970), better known by his stage name Supernatural (a.k.a. Super Nat or MC Supernatural) is an American rapper best known for his "on-the-spot" freestyle and battle rap abilities. He has been a regular performer and host of the Rock the Bells Music Festival since its beginning in 2004. Biography Born in Marion, Indiana, Supernatural began rhyming at the age of 14. Moving to New York City at the age of 19, Supernatural began to make a name for himself on the hip hop scene and by 1993 he won the New Music Seminar.
