Suburban Noize Records, also known as "Subnoize", is an independent record label based in Burbank, California that specializes in punk rock and hip hop music. The label was founded in 1997 by the Kottonmouth Kings' vocalist Daddy X and Kevin Zinger.- History A majority of the label's merchandise and album sales are via the Internet and merchandising booths at live performances. The label relies heavily on word of mouth and underground promotion techniques. A feud in 2013 between the label's founders, Daddy X and Kevin Zinger, put the label in limbo for a few years. On April 9, 2019, it was announced that Suburban Noize was reforming with Madchild, Kottonmouth Kings, Hed PE, Swollen Members, Big B, Chucky Chuck of DGAF, Saint Dog, UnderRated of Potluck and Moonshine Bandits. Thomas Bradford "Brad" Xavier (born February 21, 1965), known by his stage name Daddy X, is an American hip hop producer and rapper.Gonzales, Ron. (March 30, 2007) Albuquerque Journal. Whitney Peyton is an American rapper from the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Early life and influences Growing up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, Peyton looked up to artists who had emerged from the area such as Will Smith, Eve, and P!nk. Peyton started writing poetry and became influenced to pursue a music career after seeing music videos starring Missy Elliott, Eminem, and No Doubt. The Phunk Junkeez are an American rap rock band from Phoenix, Arizona that formed in 1991. The group's original lineup consisted of vocalists Joe Valiente (Soulman) and Kirk Reznik (K-Tel Disco) and rotated through various other members over the years. The band plays music using a number of different styles, from hardcore punk to trip hop and established a strong underground following in the 1990s as one of the first punk rock-based bands to combine elements of funk, hip-hop, and soul in what preceded the larger rap rock movement of the decade. The band is notable for being one of the first to include a DJ within a traditional four-piece rock band. Brokencyde (stylized as brokeNCYDE) is an American hip hop group from Albuquerque, New Mexico, founded in 2006. The group's lineup consists of David "Se7en" Gallegos and Michael "Mikl" Shea, and musically are one of the founding groups in the crunkcore genre, which (in general description) is crunk hip hop music with screamed vocals. Corporate Avenger was an American nu metal band from Southern California. History The idea for the band Corporate Avenger was born some time between 1995 and 1996 when brothers, Spike and Brad Xavier were on tour in the band Humble Gods. Years later, Spike met with Marco of 1605 Studio in Huntington Beach, California, and recorded some songs. In 1999, these songs were released on Suburban Noize Records as the ''Taxes are Stealing'' EP. This EP featured the first song ever recorded by the group, "Evolve", a song questioning the origins of the native peoples of the Americas. At the time of the EP, the band consisted of eight members, including Pakelika of the Kottonmouth Kings, and other members of 20 Dead Flower Children and No Doubt. The Long Beach Dub Allstars are an American dub/ska/rock band formed in 1997 and disbanded in 2002, but reformed 10 years later. History Initial career (1997–2001) Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh met in childhood (in 1979) and later started their first garage punk band, consisting of drums, bass and vocals. In 1988, with Bradley Nowell, they formed the ska punk and reggae rock band Sublime, which went on to sell over 17 million albums worldwide. After Nowell's fatal heroin overdose in 1996, Wilson and Gaugh founded the Long Beach Dub Allstars (LBDAS), joined by frequent Sublime contributors Michael "Miguel" Happoldt, Todd Forman, and "Field" Marshall Goodman. Mickey Avalon (born Yeshe Perl; December 3, 1975) is an American rapper from Hollywood, California. His debut self-titled solo album was released Nov. 7, 2006 on Interscope/Shoot to Kill Records in association with MySpace Records. Frequent topics of Avalon's songs are his experiences with substance abuse and prostitution. Early life Avalon was raised in a Jewish family and had a turbulent childhood. Kingspade was an rap duo Johnny Richter (Tim McNutt) and D-Loc (Dustin Gary Miller) of Kottonmouth Kings. History Kingspade Kingspade debuted with the track "The Adventures of This" on the ''Subnoize Rats Compilation'' in 2003. One year later the Kottonmouth Kings' sixth full-length album '' Fire It Up'' was released, including two bonus tracks. One of these was a new Kingspade track entitled "High Riders". On this track it was announced that a Kingspade album was to be released later that year. In the summer of 2004, Kingspade's debut album was released. This album included the hits "Drunk in the Club" and the previously released "High Riders". Following this release came some touring until they started to work on the next Kottonmouth Kings album.
