Main-Kinzig – Wetterau II – Schotten is an electoral constituency (German: ''Wahlkreis'') represented in the Bundestag. It elects one member via first-past-the-post voting. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 174. It is located in eastern Hesse, comprising eastern and central parts of Main-Kinzig-Kreis, the eastern part of Wetteraukreis district, and the municipality of Schotten from Vogelsbergkreis. Main-Kinzig – Wetterau II – Schotten was created for the 2013 federal election. From 2021 to 2025, it has been represented by Bettina Müller of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). Since 2025 it is been represented by Johannes Wiegelmann of the CDU. Geography Main-Kinzig – Wetterau II – Schotten is located in eastern Hesse. Ronneburg, Hesse
Ronneburg () is both a castle and a municipality in the district of Main-Kinzig, in Hessen, Germany. The town is most notable for being the site of Ronneburg castle. Geography The town is built near a steep basalt cone, on top of which a castle was built in the 13th century. Rodenbach is a municipality in the Main-Kinzig district, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated on the river Kinzig, 8 km east of Hanau. Wildlife The Niederrodenbacher Steinbrüche is a 37 hectares nature reserve, just south of Niederrodenbach. It gained protected status in 1979, when it was reclaimed from the quarry. Nidderau
Nidderau (, ) is a town in the Main-Kinzig district, in Hesse, Germany. It is situated approximately 12 km north of Hanau, and 20 km northeast of Frankfurt. Nidderau was created in the merger of the municipality of Heldenbergen with the town of Windecken on January 1, 1970.
