Maik Kuivenhoven
Maik Kuivenhoven (born 25 September 1988) is a Dutch professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events. He has reached one PDC European Tour quarter-final; at the 2020 European Darts Grand Prix. Career In 2018, Kuivenhoven qualified for his first PDC European Tour event, when he won one of the eight West/South European qualifying slots for the 2018 German Darts Open. He was defeated inbthe second round. In January 2019, he entered PDC European Q-School attempting to win a two-year Tour Card. He finished seventh on the Order of Merit to win the final card available. In 2020, Kuivenhoven reached the quarter-finals of the 2020 European Darts Grand Prix before losing to Ian White. At the end of 2022, Kuivenhoven was outside the top 64 of the Order of Merit but immediately regained his Tour Card at Q-School in January 2023. The 2025 PDC World Darts Championship (known for sponsorship reasons as the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship) was a professional darts tournament that was held from 15 December 2024 to 3 January 2025 at Alexandra Palace in London, England. It was the 32nd World Darts Championship to be organised by the Professional Darts Corporation and the 18th to be held at Alexandra Palace. The winner received £500,000 from a total prize fund of £2,500,000. The 2023 Cazoo UK Open was a darts tournament staged by the Professional Darts Corporation. It was the twenty-first year of the tournament where players compete in a single-elimination tournament to be crowned champion. The tournament was held at Butlin's Minehead, England, between 3–5 March 2023. Danny Noppert was the defending champion after defeating Michael Smith 11–10 in the 2022 final to win his first major title, but he lost to William O'Connor 10–9 in the fifth round. UK Open
The Ladbrokes UK Open is a ranking major darts tournament held annually at the Butlins Minehead Resort by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) in England. The event is often referred to as the "FA Cup of darts" as it has an unseeded open draw made after each round, and entry is open to players at all levels of darts. James Martin Wade (born 6 April 1983) is an English professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) events, where he is currently ranked world number nine; he reached a peak ranking of world number two in 2010.
