Mahō Shōjo Magical Destroyers
is an upcoming original Japanese anime television series created by Jun Inagawa and animated by Bibury Animation Studios. It is directed by Hiroshi Ikehata, with Masao Kawase serving as assistant director, and Daishiro Tanimura writing the scripts. The series is set to premiere in April 2023 on the Animeism programming block on MBS and other channels. is a subgenre of Japanese fantasy media (including anime, manga, light novels, and live-action media) centered around young girls who possess magical abilities, which they typically use through an ideal alter ego into which they can transform. The genre emerged in 1962 with ''Himitsu no Akko-chan'', followed by ''Sally the Witch'' in 1966 produced by Toei Animation. A wave of similar anime produced by the studio in the 1970s led to being used as a common term for the genre. The timeslot was established in October 2006 with a Thursday night/Friday morning schedule, until April 2015, when it switched to a Friday night/Saturday morning schedule. , professionally known under the mononym is a Japanese voice actress and singer from Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture who is affiliated with the talent agency Hibiki.
