Mahmut Toğrul
Mahmut Toğrul (born 1967, Pazarcık, Turkey) is a chemist and politician of the Peoples Democratic Party (HDP). He is a member of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey between 2015-2023, representing Gaziantep for the HDP. He is also one of the founders of the Mesopotamia Foundation, which envisions establishing a university where one could be taught in their native language. Early life and education Mahmut Toğrul was born to an Alevi family in the village Tilkiler, in the district of Pazarcık in the Kahramanmaraş province. He attended primary school in Tilkiler and high school Gaziantep. After his graduation from high school in 1985 he enrolled in the Dicle University where studied chemistry in the faculty of sciences and letters. Imprisonment Of Abdullah Öcalan
Abdullah Öcalan has been imprisoned on İmralı Island in the Sea of Marmara since February 1999. He is serving a life sentence for violating article 125 of the Turkish Penal Code. Scapula
The scapula (plural scapulae or scapulas), also known as the shoulder blade, is the bone that connects the humerus (upper arm bone) with the clavicle (collar bone). Like their connected bones, the scapulae are paired, with each scapula on either side of the body being roughly a mirror image of the other. Ahval is an Emirati-funded online news website that solely reports on Turkey. The site was launched in 2017. Turkish journalist Yavuz Baydar is the current editor-in-chief. The name ''Ahval'' means "events" and is a Turkish Arabism derivation from "ahwal". In February 2018, Ahval was blocked by the Turkish government for users in Turkey. In an interview with observatoireturquie.fr, Baydar stated that the site has 230,000 daily visitors. Talking to German newspaper ''Süddeutsche Zeitung'', Baydar said that the creation of Ahval aimed "to fill a gap caused by media bans and self-censorship in Turkey." Müslüm Doğan (born 15 October 1959) is a Turkish politician of Kurdish origin who served as the Minister of Development in the interim election government formed by Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu on 28 August 2015. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for İzmir's second electoral district in the June 2015 general election. He is a member of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP).
