Mahmoud Riad
Mahmoud Riad (; January 8, 1917 – January 25, 1992) was an Egyptian diplomat. He was Egyptian ambassador to United Nations from 1962 to 1964, Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1964 to 1972, and Secretary-General of the League of Arab States from 1972 to 1979. An army officer turned diplomat, Riad was considered an expert on Arab affairs. After fighting in the 1948 Arab–Israeli War, he was a member of the Egyptian delegation that signed the 1949 armistice with Israel. Following nine years of service in the army, Riad joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1952 and quickly climbed through the diplomatic ranks. He became Ambassador to Syria in 1955 and Permanent Representative to the United Nations in 1962. He served as Minister of Foreign Affairs from 1964 to 1972. Mohammed Murad Ghaleb
Muhammad Murad Ghaleb (1 April 1922 – 18 December 2007 in Cairo) was an Egyptian politician and diplomat who studied medicine at Cairo University. Career Ghaleb supported the revolution of 1952, and between 1955 and 1960 served as vice-minister for foreign affairs. From 1960-1961 he was the ambassador of Egypt to Congo. Between 1961 and 1971 served as ambassador of Egypt to the Soviet Union. In September 1971 was appointed as minister of state for foreign affairs and served as minister of foreign affairs from January to September 1972. In 1973-1974 he served in a diplomatic post in Libya. In 1974–1977 he was the ambassador of Egypt to Yugoslavia. Mahmoud Fawzi (, ; 19 September 1900 – 12 June 1981) was an Egyptian diplomat and political figure who was the prime minister of Egypt from 1970 to 1972 and vice president of Egypt from 1972 to 1974. Biography Fawzi was born in a village near Quwaysina, Monufia Governorate. His father was a graduate of Dar al'Ulum and the Shari'a Judges School. He studied law at the University of Cairo.
