Mahesh Limaye is an Indian cinematographer - Film director, director known for his work in Hindi and Marathi cinema. Some of his work include Traffic Signal (film), ''Traffic Signal'', Corporate (2006 film), ''Corporate'', ''Fashion'', ''Heroine'', Dabangg, ''Dabaang'', Uttarayan (film), ''Uttarayan'', ''Natarang'', Balgandharva (film), ''Balgandharva'', ''Rege'' and ''Mulshi Pattern''. Cinematography
Cinematography (from ancient Greek κίνημα, ''kìnema'' "movement" and γράφειν, ''gràphein'' "to write") is the art of motion picture (and more recently, electronic video camera) photography. Cinematographers use a lens to focus reflected light from objects into a real image that is transferred to some image sensor or light-sensitive material inside a movie camera. These exposures are created sequentially and preserved for later processing and viewing as a motion picture. Capturing images with an electronic image sensor produces an electrical charge for each pixel in the image, which is electronically processed and stored in a video file for subsequent processing or display. Images captured with photographic emulsion result in a series of invisible latent images on the film stock, which are chemically " developed" into a visible image. National Film Award – Special Mention (feature Film)
The National Film Award – Special Mention (Feature Film) is a certificate of merit presented by the Directorate of Film Festivals, the organisation set up by Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, India. It is one of several honours presented for feature films. The recipients of Special Mention are presented with a certificate of merit, without any trophies or cash prizes. The 61st National Film Awards ceremony was an event during which the Directorate of Film Festivals of India presented its annual National Film Awards to honour the best films of 2013 in the Indian cinema. ''Yellow'' is a 2014 Marathi film directed by Mahesh Limaye and produced by Riteish Deshmukh and Uttung Thakur. The story explores a mother/daughter relationship involving developmental disability and childlike behaviour. Prabhu Deva (born 3 April 1973) is an Indian dance choreographer, film director, producer and actor who has worked predominantly in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Kannada language films.
