Mahesh is an Indian actor in Malayalam films and television serials. He came into the movie industry as a hero and later started doing negative roles and supporting roles. Career He started his career as an assistant director for the director J. Sasikumar in the early 1980s. Then he worked as an associate director for 16 Malayalam movies with different leading directors. Later he turned to the acting career. He first acted in the movie ''Mudra'', directed by Sibi Malayil in 1989 at the age of 23. Birbal
Birbal (; born Mahesh Das; 1528 16 February 1586), or Raja Birbal, was a Saraswat Hindu Bhatt Brahmin advisor and main commander (''Mukhya Senapati'') of army in the court of the Mughal emperor, Akbar. He is mostly known in the Indian subcontinent for the folk tales which focus on his wit. Birbal was appointed by Akbar as a Minister (Mantri) and used to be a Poet and Singer in around 1556–1562.
