Magnus Rasmussen
Magnus Worziger Klein Rasmussen (born 18 April 1993) is a Danish footballer. Career Rasmussen came up through the youth academy of Nordsjælland, before moving to Danish second-division BSV in 2013. Rasmussen signed with USL side Louisville City FC on 12 February 2015. Rasmussen scored Louisville City's first ever competitive goal against Saint Louis FC in the opening game on 28 March 2015. He totaled eight goals and four assists in LouCity's inaugural season. In June 2016, he returned to the field after seven months of recovery from hip labral tear surgery. He rejoined the starting lineup in August. He made the USL Team of the Week twice with his first three goals. After spending the 2017 season with the Danish side BK Frem, Rasmussen returned to Louisville City FC for the 2018 season. 2019 USL Championship Season
The 2019 USL Championship season is the ninth season of the USL Championship and third under Division II sanctioning. This is the first season in which the league is operating under the name "USL Championship," having used the name "United Soccer League" through 2018. The season began on March 8, 2019, and concluded on October 20, 2019; with each team playing 34 matches. 36 teams competed in the 2019 USL Championship season, split into 2 conferences of 18 teams each. 2018 USL Season
The 2018 USL season was the eighth season of the United Soccer League and second under Division II sanctioning. The previous season, the USL had provisional Div. II sanctioning from the United States Soccer Federation (U.S. Soccer) along with the North American Soccer League, but was given full sanctioning for the 2018 season with a two-year deadline to meet the full requirements set by U.S. Soccer. Louisville City FC were the defending USL Cup champions, while Real Monarchs were the defending Supporters’ Shield champions. This season was the last for four teams in the USL, with all changing leagues for 2019 and beyond. FC Cincinnati will join Major League Soccer.
