Indie rock is a Music subgenre, subgenre of rock music that originated in the United States, United Kingdom and New Zealand from the 1970s to the 1980s. Sunset Rubdown
Sunset Rubdown is a Canadian art rock music group from Montreal. The band began as a solo project for Spencer Krug of Wolf Parade, who released his debut, '' Snake's Got a Leg'', in early 2005. By the next year the project expanded to become a full band which included Camilla Wynne Ingr (former Pony Up!), Jordan Robson-Cramer ( Magic Weapon), and Michael Doerksen. Musical style ''Sunset Rubdown'' is built around lyricist Spencer Krug's vocals and eccentric musical compositions. Krug's lyrics are characterized by surreal and mythological imagery, and often tell epic stories (most notably on their LP ''Dragonslayer''). Miracle Fortress is a Canadian indie rock band based in Montreal, Quebec. The band's studio work is primarily a solo, project of songwriter Graham Van Pelt, who is accompanied by the rest of the band during live shows. Think About Life is an indie rock band from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, formed in 2005. Biography The group was founded by drummer Matt Shane and keyboardist Graham Van Pelt.Dunlevy, T'Cha. Shapes And Sizes
Shapes and Sizes are a Canadian indie rock band from Victoria, British Columbia. There are four members—Nathan Gage, singers Caila Thompson-Hannant and Rory Seydel, and John Crellin. History Shapes and Sizes came together in Victoria and self-released their self-titled first album in early 2006. The band signed with New York record label Asthmatic Kitty and became the only Canadian band on its roster. The label reissued the band's album in July 2006. In January 2007, the band released a split 7-inch with The Weird Weeds as part of Asthmatic Kitty's new split 7-inch series, "Unusual Animals".
