Magalie Vaé
Magalie Vaé is the stage name of Magalie Bonneau, a French singer born on 6 January 1987 in Gonesse (Val-d'Oise). She was the winner of the fifth series of the French Star Academy TV talent show. Biography Vaé grew up in Le Thillay, in Val-d'Oise. In September 2005, she was selected to participate to Star Academy France. Four months later she ended up winning one million euros and a record deal to release her debut studio album. On 6 February 2006, Magalie went to Canada to record her album, produced by Rick Allison. The first single, ''Je ne suis qu'une chanson'' (''I am but a song'') was released a month later. Her self-titled album was released on 3 April 2006 to generally positive reviews. Ultratop is a non-profit organization, created on the initiative of the Belgian Entertainment Association (BEA), the Belgian member organization of the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry. ''Star Academy'', called ''Operación Triunfo'' ("Operation Triumph") in Spanish-speaking countries, is a highly successful television pop music talent contest with viewer voting and reality show elements. Cyril Cinélu, born 23 January 1987 in Lagny-sur-Marne, is a Francophone singer originally from Martinique who won the sixth season of ''Star Academy France, Star Academy'' on 22 December 2006. Grégory Jean-Paul Lemarchal (13 May 1983 – 30 April 2007), known professionally as Grégory Lemarchal, was a French singer who rose to fame by winning the fourth series of the reality television show ''Star Academy'', which was broadcast on the TF1. He died at the age of 23 of health complications (cystic fibrosis) while waiting in hospital for a lung transplant.
