Madura Veeran
''Madura Veeran'' () is a 2018 Indian Tamil language, Tamil-language action drama film written and directed by cinematographer P. G. Muthiah. Viji Subramaniam produced the film along with the director, under the banners of V Studios and P. G. Muthiah, PG Media Works. Shanmuga Pandian and Meenakshi play the lead roles, while Samuthirakani, Vela Ramamoorthy and Mime Gopi amongst others play supporting roles in the film. Santhosh Dhayanidhi was selected to compose the music for the film. The film's plot narrates the issues on jallikattu and the politics associated with, favouring the tradition rather than the proposed ban. The film released across Tamil Nadu on 2 February 2018 with mixed reviews. Shanmuga Pandian
Shanmuga Pandian (born 6 April 1993) is an Indian actor who has worked in Tamil language films. He is the son of Tamil actor and politician Vijayakanth. Narayanan Vijayaraj Alagarswami (born 25 August 1952), better known by his stage name Vijayakanth, is an Indian politician and former actor who has worked predominantly in Tamil cinema. He was the Leader of the Opposition in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Before entering politics Vijayakanth was a successful actor, producer and director. Yugabharathi is a Tamil poet and lyricist. His birth name was "Santhanam Desan" and he was known as "Santhanam" by his family and friends.
