Allerød Municipality
Allerød Kommune is a municipality (Danish, '' kommune'') on the island of Zealand (''Sjælland'') in eastern Denmark. The municipality covers an area of 67 km2, and has a population of 25,867 (1 January 2022). Its mayor is Karsten Längerich of the political party Venstre. DR (), officially the Danish Broadcasting Corporation in English, is a Danish public-service radio and television broadcasting company. Founded in 1925 as a public-service organization, it is Denmark's oldest and largest electronic media enterprise. DR is a founding member of the European Broadcasting Union.
