''Made in the Streets'' is a third studio album by American hardcore rapper Fredro Starr, best known as a member of multi-platinum hardcore rap group Onyx, released on December 25, 2013 by Mad Money Movement. Album was released on CDs on the Snowgoons's label Goon MuSick after several months, on September 9, 2014. The album was entirely produced by The Audible Doctor. The album features appearances by American rappers Makem Pay, Mike Raw, Philly Swain and french DJ Nelson. Background It's been over 10 years since Fredro Starr of Onyx dropped his last solo album. In 2012 he hooked up with Brown Bag AllStars's producer The Audible Doctor, who serves up some stellar sample-heavy beats for Fredro's cinematic street tales. At first they planned to release EP but then they have decided to turn the EP into a full length album. The Audible Doctor produced all songs on an album. Snowgoons
History Snowgoons is a German underground hip hop production team composed of DJ Illegal (Manuu Rückert) and Det Gunner (D. Keller). In 2011, producers Sicknature (Jeppe Andersen) from Denmark and J.S. Kuster (Johann Sebastian Kuster) from Germany joined the group. Det and DJ Illegal first started in 1999 as the two original members. In 2006, they decided to a add a third member, Torben from Germany, who was a part of the group until 2008. After Torben left, they decided to add a third member again in the same year, DJ Waxwork from Germany, who was a part of the group until 2009. The Snowgoons are known for using orchestral/epic samples and for working with underground MCs, like members of Wu-Tang Clan, AOTP, Boot Camp Click and La Coka Nostra. Onyx is an American hardcore hip hop group from South Jamaica, Queens, New York City, formed in 1988 by Fredro Starr, Suavé (also known as Sonny Seeza) and the late Big DS. Fred Lee Scruggs Jr. (born April 18, 1971), better known by his stage name Fredro Starr, is an American rapper and actor best known as a member of the hardcore rap group Onyx.
