Made In Jamaica (album)
''Made in Jamaica'' (stylised as ''MADE iN JAMAÏCA'') is a remix album by French DJ Bob Sinclar album released in 2010 by Yellow Productions. " I Wanna" was released as a single. Overview The album is a compilation of his greatest hits but mixed in reggae music style. It also includes two additional songs " I Wanna" and "Rainbow of Love". It has been released to positive reception from critics and fans. Sly Dunbar (drums), Robbie Shakespeare (bass), Mickey "Mao" Chung (guitar) and Sticky Thompson (percussion), 30 years after playing on Serge Gainsbourg's ''Aux armes et cetera'' and ''Bad news from the stars'', played again on ''Made in Jamaica''. Bob Sinclar
Christophe Le Friant (; born 10 May 1969), better known by his stage name Bob Sinclar (), is a French record producer, DJ and remixer. He is the owner of the record label Yellow Productions. Musical career A native of Paris, Le Friant began DJing in the 1980s under the name Chris the French Kiss. During this time he was more influenced by hip hop and jazz music and created music projects such as The Mighty Bop and Reminiscence Quartet, the latter with an ensemble of musicians and where Le Friant used the alias Desmond K. In 1998 Le Friant adopted name of Bob Sinclar after the titular character from the 1973 film ''Le Magnifique''. He became known for popularising the "French touch" of house music with heavy use of sampled and filtered disco strings. He describes his musical style as inspired by "peace, love, and house music". Orville Richard Burrell CD (born October 22, 1968), better known by his stage name Shaggy, is a Jamaican-American reggae rapper, singer, and songwriter who scored hits with the songs "It Wasn't Me", " Boombastic", "In The Summertime", "Oh Carolina", and "Angel". He has been nominated for seven Grammy Awards, winning twice for Best Reggae Album with ''Boombastic'' in 1996 and ''44/876'' with Sting in 2019, and has won the Brit Award for International Male Solo Artist in 2002. In 2007, he was awarded the Jamaican Order of Distinction with the rank of Commander. In 2022, he was awarded an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree from Brown University. Dollarman
Dollarman is a Caribbean singer, songwriter, producer and musician born in Grenada. Since moving to Brooklyn, New York, he continues to present hits with a Caribbean influence and reggae. Career In the early 1990s, he recorded his first two tracks, "Long Time Lover" and "Driver" on the Rockers Forever record label. He also performed live at clubs and bars in New York and became well recognized on the Underground Brooklyn Reggae music scene for over 10 years. In 2003, Dollarman was featured on the "Money (Pink Floyd song), Money" track of Easy Star Record's Reggae/Dub tribute version of Pink Floyd's album ''The Dark Side of the Moon'' titled ''Dub Side of the Moon''. Stephen Neil Edwards, better known by his stage name Steve Edwards, is an English house music singer and songwriter from Sheffield, England. He has collaborated with several house music producers. Biography During the 1990s, Edwards lent his collaborative efforts to British deep house musician, Charles Webster, the most notable being "Future Love", a track released by Presence, one of Webster's pseudonyms. He started appearing as a featured artist on tracks by the Problem Kids. However, Edwards' first mainstream breakthrough was Cassius' " The Sound of Violence". "Love Generation" is a song by French music producer and DJ Bob Sinclar, featuring vocals by Gary Pine, from the French artist's fourth studio album, ''Western Dream''. The single was released in September 2005 through the Yellow Productions label and became a hit in Europe and Australia, topping the charts of five countries as well as the Hungarian and US dance charts. Ventrice Morgan (born 25 March 1975), better known by the stage name Queen Ifrica, is a reggae singer and disc jockey from the hills above Montego Bay, Montego Bay, Jamaica. She is the daughter of ska music, ska musician Derrick Morgan but was raised by her mother and stepfather. A Rastafari movement, Rasta by faith, she is known for her work in that community.
