Maddison Allen (born 3 July 1993) is an Australian professional basketball player. College Allen began her college career at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo, California, playing for the Mustangs. After her second year of eligibility, Allen would then transfer to Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California where she would join the Broncos. Forward-center
Forward–center or bigman is a basketball position for players who play or have played both forward and center on a consistent basis. Typically, this means power forward and center, since these are usually the two biggest player positions on any basketball team, and therefore more often overlap each other. Forward–center came into the basketball jargon as the game evolved and became more specialized in the 1960s. The five positions on court were originally known only as guards, forwards, and the center, but it is now generally accepted that the five primary positions are point guard, shooting guard, small forward, power forward, and center. 2015–16 NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Season
The 2015–16 NCAA Division I women's basketball season began in November and ended with the Final Four in Indianapolis, April 3–5. Practices officially began on October 3. This season of NCAA women's basketball games was the first to be played in 10-minute quarters, the standard for FIBA and WNBA play. NBL1 West, formerly the State Basketball League (SBL), is a semi-professional basketball league in Western Australia, comprising both a men's and women's competition. In 2020, Basketball Western Australia partnered with the National Basketball League (NBL) to bring NBL1 to Western Australia. Rockingham Flames is an NBL1 West club based in Perth, Western Australia. The club fields a team in both the Men's and Women's NBL1 West. The club is a division of the Rockingham Basketball and Recreation Association (RBRA), the major administrative basketball organisation in the region. 2018–19 WNBL Season
The 2018–19 WNBL season is the 39th season of the competition since its establishment in 1981. The Townsville Fire were the defending champions, however they failed to qualify for the finals. Canberra Capitals won their record eighth championship, defeating Adelaide in the grand final series, 2–1. Carly Wilson (born 8 July 1982) is an Australian basketball player from Victoria. She has played for several teams in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) including the Dandenong Rangers, Australian Institute of Sport, Perth Lynx and Canberra Capitals.
