Maddie Bauer
Madeline Ann Bauer (born March 20, 1995) is an American soccer defender who plays for Fleury 91 in the Division 1 Féminine. She previously played for the Seattle Reign FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), and played collegiately for the Stanford Cardinal from 2012 to 2016. Bauer has represented the United States on the under-17, under-20 and under-23 national teams. Early life and education Raised in Newport Beach, California, a suburb of Los Angeles, Bauer attended Mater Dei High School in the nearby city of Santa Ana. She played club soccer for Slammers FC and in 2012 led the team to be ranked as the top club in the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). Bauer was twice named NSCAA Youth All-American and was nominated for the California Gatorade Girls Soccer Player of the Year award. The Hermann Trophy is awarded annually by the Missouri Athletic Club to the United States's top men's and women's college soccer players. The Damallsvenskan, Swedish for ''ladies all-Swedish'' and also known as OBOS Damallsvenskan for sponsorship reasons, is the highest division of women's football in Sweden. It is also referred to as the women's Allsvenskan. The term Allsvenskan alone is used to reference the men's division. The division consists of a league of 14 teams.
