Ein Mahil ( ar, عين ماهل; he, עֵין מָהִל) is an Arab local council in the Northern District of Israel, located about five kilometers north-east of Nazareth. It was declared a local council in 1964. In it had a population of , the majority of which are Muslims. Liga Gimel
Liga Gimel ( he, ליגה ג', lit. ''League C'') is the fifth and bottom division of Israeli Football League, a position it has held since 2009. From Liga Alef and downwards to this, each league is separated by region as well. History Liga Gimel was first established in 1951 as a third division, below Liga Alef and Liga Bet. In 1955, after designating the first tier as Liga Leumit, Liga Gimel was demoted to the fourth tier. Further demotions followed in 1976, after the second tier Liga Artzit to the fifth tier and in 1999, after the establishment of Liga Ha'Al to the sixth tier. At the end of the 2008–09 season, Liga Artzit was scrapped and Liga Gimel was brought up back to the fifth tier. The 2009–10 Liga Gimel season saw 91 clubs competing in 7 regional divisions for promotion to Liga Bet. This was the first season since 1998–99 that Liga Gimel was the fifth tier in the Israeli football league system. Hapoel Shefa-'Amr (Upper Galilee), F.C. Kfar Kama (Jezreel), F.C. Givat Olga (Samaria), Maccabi Bnei Jaljulia (Sharon), Hapoel Oranit (Tel Aviv), Bnei Yichalel Rehovot (Central) and Hapoel Katamon Jerusalem (South) all won their respective divisions and were promoted to Liga Bet. During the summer, as several vacancies were created in Liga Bet, runners-up Bnei Kabul (Upper Galilee) and Maccabi Daliyat al-Karmel (Samaria) were also promoted to Liga Bet, as well as third-placed Ironi Nesher (Samaria). Upper Galilee Division Bnei Kabul competed with Maccabi Daliyat al-Karmel from the Samaria division for a vacant spot in Liga Bet, and lost the match 1–3. Liga Bet ( he, ליגה ב', lit. ''League B'') is the fourth tier of the Israeli football league system. It is divided into four regional divisions. History League football started in Israel in 1949–50, a year after the Israeli Declaration of Independence. However, the financial and security crises gripping the young nation caused the 1950–51 season to be abandoned before it had started. When football resumed in 1951–52, the new top division went by the name of Liga Alef with Liga Bet as the second division. The 1952–53 season was also not played, and Liga Bet resumed in 1953–54. In the 1955–56 season, Liga Leumit came into existence as the new top division, with Liga Alef becoming the second division and Liga Bet demoted to the third division. The 2014–15 Liga Bet season saw Hapoel Kafr Kanna (champions of the North A division), Hapoel Baqa al-Gharbiyye (champions of the North B division), Hapoel Bik'at HaYarden (champions of the South A division) and Bnei Eilat (champions of the South B division) win the title and promotion to Liga Alef. The clubs ranked 2nd to 5th in each division entered a promotion play-off, at the end of which, Hapoel Iksal (from the North section) and Hapoel Kiryat Ono (from the South section) met the teams ranked 14th in Liga Alef. Hapoel Iksal won their tie and was promoted to Liga Alef as well, while Hapoel Kiryat Ono lost and remained in Liga Bet. At the bottom, Hapoel Ironi Bnei I'billin (from North A division) and Otzma F.C. Holon (from South A division) were automatically relegated to Liga Gimel. Hapoel ( he, הפועל, lit. ''the worker'') is an Israeli Jewish sports association established in 1926 by the Histadrut Labor Federation. History During the British Mandate of Palestine period Hapoel had a bitter rivalry with Maccabi and organized its own competitions, with the exception of football, the only sport in which all the organizations played each other. At the time, Hapoel took no part in the ''Eretz Israel Olympic Committee'', which was controlled by Maccabi, and instead sought for international ties with similar workers sports organizations of socialist parties.
