Mac Mohan
Mohan Makijany (24 April 1938 – 10 May 2010), popularly known as Mac Mohan, was an Indian actor, who worked in Hindi cinema. He was known for his villainous roles in films throughout the 1970s and 1980s. He appeared in over 200 films, including ''Don'', ''Karz'', ''Satte Pe Satta'', ''Zanjeer'', '' Rafoo Chakkar'', ''Shaan'', ''Khoon Pasina'', and ''Sholay''. Early life and career Mac Mohan was born in Karachi in British India. Mohan came to Bombay to become a cricketer, but joined theatre and became a Bollywood actor. He learned acting in the ''Filmalaya School of Acting'' in Bombay. Mac Mohan started his Hindi film career as an assistant with director Chetan Anand, before making his debut as an actor in his film, '' Haqeeqat'' in 1964. Haryanvi Language
Haryanvi ( ' or '), also known as Bangru, is an Indo-Aryan language spoken in the state of Haryana in India, and to a lesser extent in Delhi. Haryanvi is considered to be part of the dialect group of Western Hindi, which also includes Khariboli and Braj. It is written in the Devanagari script. In popular culture Bollywood films like Dangal, Sultan, and Tanu Weds Manu: Returns have used the Haryanvi culture and language as the backdrop of their films. ''Haqeeqat'' ( ''Reality'') is a 1964 Indian Hindi-language war-drama directed and produced by Chetan Anand. The film stars Dharmendra, Balraj Sahni, Priya Rajvansh, Sudhir, Sanjay Khan and Vijay Anand in major roles. The music of the film is composed by Madan Mohan and the lyrics of the songs are by Kaifi Azmi. The film is based on the events of the 1962 Sino-Indian War about a small platoon of soldiers in Ladakh pitched against a much larger adversary. The film was constructed around the battle of Rezang La in Ladakh and showcases a fictionalised version of the last stand of Ahir Company, 13 Kumaon led by Major Shaitan Singh. However the film is not only a representation of war, but a dramatic retelling of the impact war has on the common soldier.
