Barton MacLane (December 25, 1902 – January 1, 1969) was an American actor, playwright, and screenwriter. He appeared in many classic films from the 1930s through the 1960s, including his role as General Martin Peterson on the 1960s NBC television comedy series ''I Dream of Jeannie'', with Barbara Eden and Larry Hagman. Early life MacLane was born in Columbia, South Carolina, on Christmas Day, 1902. He attended Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, where he excelled at American football. Angus MacLane (born April 13, 1975) is an American animator, storyboard artist, character designer, screenwriter, film director, and voice actor currently working at Pixar. He co-directed the film ''Finding Dory'' (2016) and made his solo feature directorial debut with the ''Toy Story'' spin-off film ''Lightyear'' (2022). MacLane is also a Lego enthusiast and created the CubeDudes building format and designed a LEGO WALL-E that has become an official set from The Lego Group. Evan Alan MacLane (born November 4, 1982) is an American professional baseball pitcher who is currently a free agent. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the St. Louis Cardinals and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Orix Buffaloes. Career MacLane attended Pleasant Valley High School in Chico and went on to Feather River College. MacLane was taken as the 739th pick (25th round) of the 2003 Major League Baseball Draft by the New York Mets. MacLane signed with the Mets and played in their minor-league system until 2006, rising to the Triple-A level. In 2006, MacLane was traded from the Mets to the Arizona Diamondbacks for Shawn Green.
