''MaMaSé!'' is the tenth studio album by the Belgian-Dutch girlgroup K3. The album is the first K3 album released featuring the new line-up: with Josje Huisman, who was found via a television contest called ''K2 zoekt K3'', instead of Kathleen Aerts, who had left the group in March 2009. It was released on 20 November 2009 through label Studio 100. The album contains two CDs. The first CD contains brand new original songs, and the second one contains a selection of K3's biggest hits, but now remixed and featuring new member Josje's voice. Three singles were released to promote the album: " De revolutie!", " MaMaSé!" and " De politie". "MaMaSé" is the first single to be released from Flemish/Dutch girl group K3' tenth studio album ''MaMaSé! ''MaMaSé!'' is the tenth studio album by the Belgian-Dutch girlgroup K3. It was written by Miguel Wiels, A. Putte, P. Gillis, and produced by Studio 100. The song premiered in October 2009, on the reality television show called K2 Zoekt K3, which was the search for a new third k3 member (Kathleen Aerts had left back in March). It has charted in the Top 40 and the Ultra Top 50, and according to mid-week predictions, was already a massive success in its first week of release. The song later went platinum. K3 (band)
K3 is a Belgium, Belgian-Netherlands, Dutch girl group with a Dutch language, Dutch-language pop repertoire, consisting of Hanne Verbruggen, Marthe De Pillecyn and Julia Boschman. The group's name is derived from first letters of the three first members from 1998: Karen Damen, Kristel Verbeke and Kathleen Aerts. Their signature style and iconocity relies in all three girls mostly wearing the same outfit, and in the fact that each girl's hair represents one color in the Flag of Belgium, Belgian flag. Throughout their career, K3 has built a space within Dutch and Belgian pop culture. Kristel Verbeke
Kristel Philemon Charlotte Verbeke (born 10 December 1975 in Hamme) is a Flemish singer, actress, host and one of the first members of the girl group K3. After leaving K3 in 2015, she became the group's manager, remaining in this position until 2017. Since leaving K3, Verbeke focused on TV producing and acting. Life and career Early life When Verbeke was 13 her parents divorced. She lived with her father, but kept in touch with her mother. Her two sisters died in their youth. Her younger sister Véronique died at home at age 11 due to carbon monoxide poisoning and her older sister Isabelle died in a car accident at age 21. Her father died of lung cancer at the beginning of the K3 breakthrough. After completing secondary education, she trained as a ''regent'' for Dutch, history and economics. "De Revolutie" was the last single from Flemish/Dutch girl group K3 with first blonde member ''Kathleen Aerts''. It was written by Miquel Wiels, A. Putte, P. Gillis, and produced by Studio 100. The song premiered in 2008 in their 10th anniversary show. The song was supposed to be the leading single of their tenth album, but the album did not make it because Kathleen wanted to quit K3. However, a year later, when Josje Huisman was chosen to replace Kathleen, the song was rerecorded and put on the tenth album ''MaMaSé! Josina Cornelia "Josje" Huisman (born 16 February 1986, in Heusden) is a Dutch singer, actress, dancer, host and writer best known as the second blonde member of the girl group K3 (band), K3. She was the winner of the televised talent show in 2009 and was part of the group until 2016. Life and career Early life Josina Cornelia Huisman was born in Heusden, the Netherlands.
