"MaMaSé" is the first single to be released from Flemish/Dutch girl group K3' tenth studio album ''MaMaSé! ''MaMaSé!'' is the tenth studio album by the Belgian-Dutch girlgroup K3. The album is the first K3 album released featuring the new line-up: with Josje Huisman, who was found via a television contest called ''K2 zoekt K3'', instead of Kathleen ...''. It was written by Miguel Wiels, A. Putte, P. Gillis, and produced by Studio 100. The song premiered in October 2009, on the reality television show called K2 Zoekt K3, which was the search for a new third k3 member (Kathleen Aerts had left back in March). K3 (band)
K3 is a Belgium, Belgian-Netherlands, Dutch girl group with a Dutch language, Dutch-language pop repertoire, consisting of Hanne Verbruggen, Marthe De Pillecyn and Julia Boschman. The group's name is derived from first letters of the three first members from 1998: Karen Damen, Kristel Verbeke and Kathleen Aerts. Their signature style and iconocity relies in all three girls mostly wearing the same outfit, and in the fact that each girl's hair represents one color in the Flag of Belgium, Belgian flag. Throughout their career, K3 has built a space within Dutch and Belgian pop culture. ''MaMaSé!'' is the tenth studio album by the Belgian-Dutch girlgroup K3. The album is the first K3 album released featuring the new line-up: with Josje Huisman, who was found via a television contest called ''K2 zoekt K3'', instead of Kathleen Aerts, who had left the group in March 2009. It was released on 20 November 2009 through label Studio 100. The album contains two CDs. The first CD contains brand new original songs, and the second one contains a selection of K3's biggest hits, but now remixed and featuring new member Josje's voice. Studio 100 is a Belgian production company with four television channels, four animation studios and 8 theme parks around the world. The headquarters of the group is based in Schelle, with offices in Breda, Munich, Paris, New York, Sydney and Los Angeles. History Studio 100 was founded in 1996 by Gert Verhulst, Danny Verbiest and Hans Bourlon. The song premiered in 2008 in their 10th anniversary show. The song was supposed to be the leading single of their tenth album, but the album did not make it because Kathleen wanted to quit K3.
