MTV Europe Music Awards
The MTV Europe Music Awards (originally named MTV European Music Awards, commonly abbreviated as MTV EMA) are awards presented by Paramount International Networks to honour artists and music in pop culture. It was originally conceived as an alternative to the MTV Video Music Awards, which are hosted annually in the United States. The Europe Music Awards are held every year in a different country; it has been hosted mostly in the United Kingdom. The annual presentation ceremony features performances by prominent artists, and the presentation of those awards that have a more popular interest. Loïc Nottet (; born 10 April 1996) is a Belgian singer, songwriter and dancer. 2017 MTV Europe Music Awards
The 2017 MTV EMAs (also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards) were held at The SSE Arena in Wembley, London, United Kingdom, on 12 November 2017. The ceremony's host was Rita Ora, with voiceovers provided by Capital FM DJ Roman Kemp. This was the sixth time that the UK hosted the ceremony, and the second time London was the host city. London first hosted the ceremony in 1996 at Alexandra Palace. The ceremony was directed for television by British award-winning multi camera director Hamish Hamilton. Tourist LeMC (born 1984, in Schoten) is the artist name of Flemish singer Johannes Faes. He sings in an adaptation of the local Antverpian dialect, altered with non-local sounds and emphases; his music is mainly influenced by French hip-hop, as well as reggae, cabaret, and folk. Biography Johannes Faes was born the third of four sons in Schoten on October 9, 1984. His mother is a nurse, his father a teacher. Oscar & The Wolf
Oscar and the Wolf is the moniker for Belgian solo artist Max Colombie. Life and career Oscar and the Wolf first gained international attention with the single "Orange Sky" in 2013, which got them support slots for the likes of Lou Reed, but gained critical acclaim and success with debut album ''Entity'', released in April 2014. Felix De Laet (born 30 November 1993), known by his stage name Lost Frequencies, is a Belgian DJ and record producer. He is best known for his singles " Are You with Me" in 2014, " Reality" in 2015, and "Where Are You Now" with Calum Scott in 2021. Background Name origin The name "Lost Frequencies" was first used when De Laet had used old songs, which he calls 'lost frequencies' to make remixes when he started the project. 2015 MTV Europe Music Awards
The 2015 MTV EMAs (also known as the MTV Europe Music Awards) were held at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago, near Milan, Italy, on 25 October 2015. Stephen Fasano, better known by his stage name The Magician, is a Belgian DJ and record producer from Brussels, in Belgium.
