MPM Erelis
The 'Erelis' (formerly the PS 160) was the first and only car produced by the French car manufacturer MPM Motors from 2016. It is a modified Tagaz Aquila. Originally named "PS160", MPM renamed its coupe "Erelis" in August 2018. The Erelis was designed as the first model of a range of vehicles developed by MPM Motors in order to offer a sports car at an affordable price. Erelis means eagle in Lithuanian. The Erelis made its first public appearance at the Paris Motor Show 2018. MPM Motors
MPM Motors was a French car manufacturer founded in September 2015. The first and only model developed by the manufacturer is the MPM Erelis (the evolution of the Tagaz Aquila/PS160, formerly produced by TagAZ in Russia), which was approved for Europe in December 2016. History In 2015, the start-up MPM Motors was created in France, in Croissy-sur-Seine, by Oleg and Igor Paramonov, the sons of the industrialist Michael Paramonov who grew up in France. They decided to launch the brand there and named it MPM for Mr. Paramonov Manufacturing, in tribute to their father. The Tagaz AQUiLA (Ru:ТагАЗ Аквилла) (Latin for Eagle) is a compact car formerly produced by TagAZ, now defunct, in Taganrog, Russia. The Aquila is marketed by TagAZ as a " four-door coupe". The car is powered by a 107 hp Mitsubishi ''4G18'' I4 engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. The car has a steel spaceframe covered with plastic body panels. History The Aquila went on sale in Russia in March, 2013. TagAZ was declared bankrupt on January 21, 2014, meaning that the future of the model is unclear. The basic model includes air conditioning, power windows, central locking, electrically adjustable heated mirrors, radio cassette, power steering, alloy wheels, driver's airbag and ABS.
