Trappes
Trappes () is a commune in the Yvelines department, region of Île-de-France, north-central France. It is a banlieue located in the western suburbs of Paris, from the center of Paris, in the new town of Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Transport Trappes is served by Trappes station on the Transilien La Défense and Transilien Paris-Montparnasse suburban rail lines. Population Crime The suburb is known for gang violence and poverty. It also has Islamists among its large Muslim population, with 70 local people suspected of having left France to fight for the Islamic State, according to several sources. According to the French government, 67 people from Trappes have joined the Islamic State, and others have carried out attacks inside France. French Ban On Face Covering
The French ban on face covering (french: LOI n° 2010-1192: Loi interdisant la dissimulation du visage dans l'espace public, "Law of 2010-1192: Act prohibiting concealment of the face in public space") is an act of parliament passed by the Senate of France on 14 September 2010, resulting in the ban on the wearing of face-covering headgear, including masks, helmets, balaclavas, niqābs and other veils covering the face in public places, except under specified circumstances. This ban does not apply to the hijab, as it does not cover the face. The ban also applies to the burqa, a full-body covering, if it covers the face. Consequently, full body costumes and Zentais (skin-tight garments covering entire body) were banned. The bill had previously been passed by the National Assembly of France on 13 July 2010. Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines () is a new town and an agglomeration community in the French department of Yvelines. Transilien Line U, also known as "La Défense - La Verrière" or more often simply "ligne U", is a tangential commuter train link, which serves the western Paris region from La Défense. Career Born in Trappes, Odile Bailleux studied music at the and the École César Franck in the organ class with Jean Fellot and Édouard Souberbielle. After she participated in 1964 in the International Academy of the Organ in Saint-Maximin-la-Sainte-Baume, she left in 1969 in Frankfurt to work with the organist Helmut Walcha. Transilien Line N is a railway line of the Paris Transilien Commuter rail, suburban rail network operated by the SNCF. The trains on this line travel between Gare Montparnasse in Paris and the west of Île-de-France region, with termini in Rambouillet, Dreux and Mantes-la-Jolie on a total of .
