Max Oppenheimer (artist)
Max Oppenheimer (1 July 1885 – 19 May 1954), later known as MOPP, was an Austrian painter and graphic artist. Life Oppenheimer was born in Vienna on 1 July 1885. He studied from 1900 to 1903 at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in that city studying under Christian Griepenkerl and Siegmund L'Allemand, and then – from 1903 to 1906 – at the Academy of Fine Arts of Prague, where he studied under Franz Thiele. Along with Egon Schiele, with whom he shared a studio in 1910 and Oskar Kokoschka he was considered as being one of Austria's leading avant-garde artists. His work was influenced by several different movements including expressionism, cubism and futurism. His work was included in 2 art exhibitions in 1908 and 1909 in Vienna co-organised by Gustav Klimt. His first one-man show was held in Munich at the Moderne Galerie in 1910. MOPP (chemotherapy)
MOPP is a combination chemotherapy regimen used to treat Hodgkin lymphoma. The acronym is derived from the component drugs of the regimen: * (M)ustargen (also known as mechlorethamine, chlormethine, mustine, nitrogen mustard, or MSD) * (O)ncovin (also known as Vincristine or VCR) * (P)rocarbazine (also known as Matulane or Natulan) * (P)rednisone (also known as Deltasone or Orasone) The treatment is usually administered in four week cycles, often for six cycles. MSD and VCR are administered intravenously, while procarbazine and prednisone are pills taken orally. A newer Hodgkin lymphoma treatment is ABVD. C-MOPP involves switching the nitrogen mustard from mechlorethamine to cyclophosphamide. C-MOPP is thus very similar to COPP, using the same 4 agents and differing at most in dosages and timing. ''Mrs Mopp'' is a video game developed by Tina Billett for the 48K ZX Spectrum published by Computasolve in 1983. It was re-released by Atlantis Software as the punctuated ''Mrs. Mopp''. The player takes the role of a housewife trying to keep her kitchen tidy against the best mess-making efforts of her family. Gameplay The screen represents a kitchen which Mrs. Mopp moves around. Dirt, cups, glasses and clothes accumulate on the floor, blocking her progress. She must pick up one of the appropriately coloured tools around the room (basket, tray, or dustpan and brush) and use it to collect the mess. When the character sprite flashes, the tool must be emptied into the appropriate part of the kitchen (washing machine, sink, or bin). When Mrs. Mopp gets tired, she can revive herself by having a swig of sherry, but care must be taken not to drink too much, or Mrs. Mopp will become first tipsy (reversed controls), then drunk (random movement).
