MENA Tour
The MENA Tour is a golf tour in the Middle East and North Africa. It was founded in 2011 by the Dubai-based Shaikh Maktoum Golf Foundation. It was previous affiliated to The R&A and the Arab Golf Federation. The previous iteration of the tour was open to both professionals and amateurs. In 2016 and 2017, the top five professionals on the Order of Merit received Sunshine Tour cards for the following season, with those 6th to 15th earning entry into the final stage of the Sunshine Tour's Q School. The MENA Tour was included in the Official World Golf Ranking from May 2016, with three points awarded for 54-hole events and five for 72-hole events. The tour was cancelled in 2018 but started again in 2019, with five events planned for February and March 2019 with a further five in October and November. The schedule was revised in 2020 with all tournaments being played from February to April. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic only 5 events were played. No tournaments were held in 2021. ...

Zane Scotland
Zane Leo Scotland (born 17 July 1982) is an English professional golfer. Scotland was born in Manchester and educated at The John Fisher School in Surrey. In 1997 he won a competition to find a British Tiger Woods. He went on to have a successful amateur career, winning several tournaments and gaining many representative honours, in addition to becoming the youngest English player ever to qualify for The Open Championship in 1999. He turned professional in 2003 but a car crash that resulted in an injury to his neck severely affected his early career. Scotland finally earned his place on the European Tour by finishing inside the top 120 on the Order of Merit in 2007 despite having limited playing opportunities. However he failed to establish himself during his maiden season in 2008 and was back competing on the second tier Challenge Tour the following year. Jamie Elson
Philip James Elson (born 23 May 1981) is an English professional golfer. Elson was born in Leamington Spa, England. He attended Augusta State University in the U.S. and turned professional in 2003. Elson played on the Challenge Tour in 2003, winning once at the Volvo Finnish Open. He played on the top-tier European Tour in 2004, but was unsuccessful and disappeared from both Tours for a number of years. In 2009, he made a comeback, and once again qualified for the European Tour via Qualifying School. His second season at the highest level was more successful, with a best finish of tied for second at the Saint-Omer Open, but he still only retained partial membership for the following season. However, he started 2011 strongly, recording two top-5 finishes before matching his best ever result with a tied for second at the Madeira Islands Open. Stephen Dodd
Stephen Christopher Dodd (born 15 July 1966) is a Welsh professional golfer who after a moderate career, unexpectedly won two events on the European Tour in the 2005 season at the age of 38 and won a third time in 2006. He also won the 2005 WGC-World Cup in partnership with Bradley Dredge. Since turning 50 he has won four times on the European Senior Tour, including the 2021 Senior Open Championship. Personal life Dodd was born in Cardiff. He resides in Barry, Wales with his wife Allison and their son Liam. Amateur career Dodd had a successful amateur career highlighted by victory in The Amateur Championship at Royal Birkdale in 1989, which qualified him to play in The Open Championship that year and the Masters Tournament the following year. Thriston Lawrence
Thriston Lawrence (born 3 December 1996) is a South African professional golfer who currently plays on the European Tour and the Sunshine Tour. He claimed his maiden victory on the European Tour in the weather-shortened Joburg Open in 2021 and also won the 2022 Investec South African Open Championship. Professional career Lawrence turned professional in 2014. He played on the MENA Tour in 2015 and the Challenge Tour in 2016. He won the MENA Tour Order of Merit in 2015.
