MBLAQ ( ko, 엠블랙, ja, エムブラック; an acronym for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean boy band created by South Korean singer Rain under J. Tune Camp. The group consists of Seungho, G.O, and Mir, and formerly Lee Joon and Thunder. The group debuted on October 15, 2009, at Rain's Legend of Rainism concert. On October 14, 2009, the group released their debut single album, ''Just BLAQ'', which topped various online and offline music charts in South Korea. The group then released their first extended play album '' Y'' on May 19, 2010, and on January 10, 2011, MBLAQ released their first studio album, ''BLAQ Style''. On December 16, 2014, it was announced Joon and Thunder had departed from the group and they will focus on individual activities for the time being. BLAQ Style - 3D Edition
''BLAQ Style'' is the first full-length album by South Korean boy band MBLAQ, and was released by J.Tune Camp on January 10, 2011 at 11 AM KST. MBLAQ's title songs will include "Stay" and "Cry". A re-release of the album, retitled ''BLAQ Style - 3D Edition'', was released on February 22, 2011. Consisting a total of 16 tracks, the album contains the 13 tracks from ''BLAQ Style'', as well as 3 new tracks. Two of the three new tracks included MBLAQ's participation in its production. The track "돌아올 수 없는 (Can't Come Back)" was composed by G.O and the lyrics were written by Mir, while the song titled ''You'' was written and composed by Cheon Doong. Included in the repackage is the CD containing all 16 tracks, and a DVD consisting of the music videos of "Stay" and "Cry", as well as a 'making of' video. ''Inkigayo'' ( ko, 인기가요; English title: ''The Music Trend'', previously ''Popular Song'') is a South Korean music program broadcast by SBS. It airs live every Sunday. The show features some of the latest and most popular artists who perform on stage. It is broadcast from the SBS Open Hall in Deungchon-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul. History ''Inkigayo'' debuted as ''SBS Popular Song'' in 1991 as a chart show, but was canceled in fall 1993 because it was replaced by TV Gayo 20 (TV 가요20). It was later revived in 1998 with its original title and format. In 2003, the chart format was removed and was replaced by ''Take 7'', where seven of the most popular artists from the week are featured and the most popular artist receives the award for ''Mutizen Song''. The show features some of the latest and most popular artists who perform live on stage. It is broadcast from MBC Dream Center in Goyang, Gyeonggi. History Prior to the current ''Show! Music Core'', numerous music programs with similar content were aired on MBC. Below is the list in chronological order. ''Live Music Camp'' was cancelled due to a broadcast accident of revealing genitalia. After a brief hiatus, ''Show! Music Core'' began airing on October 29, 2005, with charts similar to its predecessors. However, the charts were removed on January 7, 2006, and it continues to air without any charts or awards. ''Music Bank'' (; RR: ''Myujikbaengkeu'') is a South Korean music program which airs every Friday at 17:00 KST on KBS2. E-Tribe (Hangul: ) is a South Korean record artist and music duo consisting of Ahn Myung-won and Kim Young-deuk. They are most known for producing " Gee" by Girls' Generation, "U-Go-Girl" by Lee Hyo-ri, "Yayaya" by T-ara, " It's You" by Super Junior, and "I Know" by Se7en. Due to the consistent success of these singles, the duo has become well accepted and known in the South Korean music scene.
