M. Srinivas (medical Professional)
M. Srinivas is an Indian medical professional and the current director of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi. Early life and education M. Srinivas was raised in Karnataka's Yadgir district, where his father, Ashappa, served as a tehsildar. He attended the Government Model Primary School at Station Bazar, Yadgir, for his early education and later continued his studies at the Government New Kannada Proudha Shaale in the same district. Srinivas completed his pre-university education at a PU College in Yadgir before moving to Bellary for further studies. He received his MBBS degree at the Vijayanagara Institute of Medical Sciences. After completing his MBBS, Srinivas earned a Master Chirurgiae (MCh) degree from AIIMS, New Delhi. Yadgir is a city and the administrative headquarters of Yadgir district in the Indian state of Karnataka. It is also the administrative headquarters of Yadgir Taluka, one of the six taluks of Yadgir. AIIMS
The All India Institutes of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) is a group of autonomous government public medical universities of higher education under the jurisdiction of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare , Government of India. These institutes have been declared by an Act of Parliament as Institutes of National Importance. AIIMS New Delhi, the forerunner institute, was established in 1956. Employees' State Insurance Corporation (abbreviated as ESIC) is one of the two main statutory social security bodies under the administrative control of Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India, the other being the Employees' Provident Fund Organisation.
