"M.I.A" is a song by English singer Cher Lloyd. Released on 11 October 2019, under Universal Music Group, the song is the official lead single of her upcoming third studio album, following her comeback "None Of My Business" in October 2018. An accompanying video directed by Raja Virdi was premiered on YouTube on the day of the song's release. Background and promotion Lloyd began teasing the song on 3 October 2019 by posting cryptic images of the acronym on her social media spelling out the title. In an interview with Euphoria, Lloyd stated that "the whole concept behind that song was being at a party that you really really don't want to be at, but you want to be with that person and you'd rather be anywhere else if it means that you get to be with that person". 3 Beat Productions is a British independent record label founded by Jon Barlow in 1989. History 3 Beat Music was founded as a dance music record shop in 1989 by Jon Barlow, Dave Nicholl, Phil Southall and later joined by Phil Beddard and Hywell Williams who were students at the time. It began as a second hand record stall in Quiggins, Liverpool and later moved into a permanent location on Wood Street where the shop was managed by Rob Jay and Pezz 3 Beat where it won numerous awards including Music Week's independent record shop of the year. In 2002, the shop expanded and moved to Slater Street. As of 2009, the record shop has changed ownership and is now no longer part of the 3 Beat group. Cahill are a dance music group based in Liverpool, UK consisting of producers Anton Powers, Tim Condran and Scott Rosser. They are best known for their 2008 single, " Trippin' on You", which features vocals from Nikki Belle. Background Cahill are named after Tim Cahill, the star midfielder for Everton F.C., the team Anton Powers supports.
