M-19 (Michigan Highway)
M-19 is a north–south state trunkline highway in the US state of Michigan. The trunkline begins northeast of Detroit at a junction with Interstate 94 (I-94) near New Haven and runs northward to a junction with M-142 just east of Bad Axe in The Thumb region of the Lower Peninsula. The highway runs through mostly rural and agricultural areas, connecting several small communities. Dating back to the original signposting of the state highway system, M-19 initially connected Detroit with Port Huron and Port Austin in 1919. In late 1926, the routing was altered to shorten it to Bad Axe on the north and Richmond on the south. Additional changes in the 1950s and 1960s updated the highway to finish paving the roadway and extend it southward to its present terminus. A concurrency in a road network is an instance of one physical roadway bearing two or more different route numbers. When two roadways share the same right-of-way, it is sometimes called a common section or commons. M-46 (Michigan Highway)
M-46 is an east–west state trunkline highway in the US state of Michigan between Muskegon and Port Sanilac, terminating near Lake Michigan and Lake Huron on each end. Except for the north–south segment that corresponds with the US Highway 131 (US 131) freeway between Cedar Springs and Howard City, M-46 is practically a due east–west surface highway. The road runs through rural sections of the Lower Peninsula connecting several freeways including US 31, US 131, US 127 and Interstate 75 (I-75). The highway was formed by July 1, 1919, along two discontinuous sections of its current corridor. The gap was filled in by 1927, but a second break in the routing was created in the 1930s. Yale Airport is a public-use airport located one nautical mile (1.85 km) southeast of the central business district of Yale, a city in St. Clair County, Michigan, United States. Facilities and aircraft Yale Airport covers an area of at an elevation of 814 feet (248 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 9/27 with a turf surface measuring 2,300 by 110 feet (701 x 34 m). For the 12-month period ending December 31, 2021, the airport had 50 general aviation aircraft operations. That is down from 200 operations in 2009. M-136 is a state trunkline highway in the US state of Michigan that runs from Brockway to Fort Gratiot in the lower part of The Thumb of the Lower Peninsula. The highway serves as a connector between M-19 on the west and M-25 northwest of Port Huron. In between, the highway runs through rural St. Clair County through farm fields and along a creek and river. The trunkline uses roads that were part of the state highway system in 1919. Blue Water (train)
The ''Blue Water'' (previously the ''Blue Water Limited'') is a higher-speed passenger train service operated by Amtrak as part of its ''Michigan Services''. The route runs from Chicago, Illinois, to Port Huron in Michigan's Blue Water Area, for which the train is named. Major stops are in Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, East Lansing, and Flint.
