"Lying from You" is a song by American rock music, rock band Linkin Park, released on March 16, 2004. It was released as an airplay-only single from their second album, ''Meteora (album), Meteora'', which was released on March 25, 2003. Song information The song opens up with a viola-influenced keyboard sample that leads into it being looped throughout the verses. It also contains a sample of a car Burnout (vehicle), burning out. The song was one of seven Linkin Park songs used in the collaboration between the band and rapper Jay-Z ("Dirt off Your Shoulder/Lying from You") on the mash-up album ''Collision Course (EP), Collision Course'' released in November 2004. In live shows of 2008, "Lying from You" used a new intro, removing all samples from the intro and first half of the first verse. ''Live in Texas'' is the first live album and third DVD by American rock band Linkin Park, originally released on November 18, 2003. The band's main setlist includes songs from their studio albums ''Hybrid Theory'' and ''Meteora'', as well as one song from their remix album '' Reanimation''. The live album peaked at #23 on the ''Billboard'' 200, and it has sold 1.1 million copies in the United States. The audio version of the concert includes 12 out of the 17 tracks. At the end of "A Place for My Head", lead singer Chester Bennington breaks guitarist Brad Delson's guitar. At the end of the concert, DJ Joe Hahn threw a piece of his equipment on the stage floor.
