''Love Is Here'' is the debut studio album by rock band Starsailor, released on 8 October 2001 by Chrysalis Records. After finalising their line-up, a positive review from ''NME'' started a bidding war between record labels that eventually saw the band sign to EMI. Following the making of some demos, "Fever" and "Good Souls" were released as singles on 4 February 2001 and 23 April 2001, respectively. The band recorded their debut album at Rockfield Studios with producer Steve Osborne over the course of six weeks. ''Love Is Here'' features acoustic guitars accompanied by gentle piano chords, earning it comparisons to the albums ''Parachutes'' (2000) by Coldplay, and ''The Invisible Band'' (2001) by Travis. Starsailor (band)
Starsailor are an English post-Britpop band, formed in 2000. Since their formation the band has included guitarist and vocalist James Walsh, drummer Ben Byrne, bassist James Stelfox and keyboardist Barry Westhead. They are best known for their 2003 single " Silence Is Easy" which reached number 9 in the UK. The band has released five studio albums, and have scored ten Top 40 hit singles in the UK. Their first album '' Love Is Here'' was released in 2001, followed by '' Silence Is Easy'' (2003) and '' On the Outside'' (2005). After the release of its fourth album ''All the Plans'' (2009), the band entered into extended hiatus until 2014, during which its members were involved in individual projects. James Stelfox
James Paul Stelfox (born 23 March 1976 in Warrington, England) is an English musician, best known as the bassist for Starsailor. Biography Stelfox first met Ben Byrne ten years prior to Starsailor forming. They became friends since junior school and they went to Leigh Campus of Wigan and Leigh College, where they finally met Barry Westhead and James Walsh. Stelfox and Byrne started playing in the north west of England for a number of years. After their singer fell ill, James Walsh decided to join them (before, he was on a school choir). James Milne Walsh (born 10 June 1980) is an English singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist and frontman of the band Starsailor. Walsh released his first solo studio album, ''Lullaby'', in 2012.
