James Stelfox
James Paul Stelfox (born 23 March 1976 in Warrington, England) is an English musician, best known as the bassist for Starsailor. Biography Stelfox first met Ben Byrne ten years prior to Starsailor forming. They became friends since junior school and they went to Leigh Campus of Wigan and Leigh College, where they finally met Barry Westhead and James Walsh. Stelfox and Byrne started playing in the north west of England for a number of years. After their singer fell ill, James Walsh decided to join them (before, he was on a school choir). Isle Of Wight Festival 2008
The Isle Of Wight Festival 2008 was the seventh revived Isle of Wight Festival held at Seaclose Park in Newport on the Isle Of Wight. The event took place between 13 June – 15 June 2008. Tickets went on sale in December 2007 and were sold out within weeks. This year was the first time that the festival was screened live on TV. After four years of highlights packages being broadcast on Channel 4, this year ITV announced that they had won the rights to broadcast live on ITV2. There were live programmes on each of the three days; starting at 11:00pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday and contain mainly highlights of the days performances, along with live coverage of the headliners' sets. Massive Attack
Massive Attack are an English trip hop collective formed in 1988 in Bristol by Robert "3D" Del Naja, Adrian "Tricky" Thaws, Andrew "Mushroom" Vowles and Grant "Daddy G" Marshall. The debut Massive Attack album ''Blue Lines'' was released in 1991, with the single "Unfinished Sympathy" reaching the charts and later being voted the 63rd greatest song of all time in a poll by ''NME''. 1998's ''Mezzanine'' (containing the top 10 single " Teardrop") and 2003's '' 100th Window'' charted in the UK at number one. Hard-Fi are an English indie rock band, formed in 2003 in Staines-upon-Thames, Surrey. The band's most recent lineup before going on hiatus consisted of Richard Archer (singing, lead vocals and electric guitar, guitar), Kai Stephens (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Steve Kemp (musician), Steve Kemp (drum kit, drums and backing vocals).
