Louhela Railway Station
Louhela railway station ( fi, Louhelan rautatieasema, sv, Klippsta järnvägsstation) is a VR commuter rail station located in Vantaa, Finland. It is approximately thirteen kilometres north of Helsinki Central railway station. The station is served by circular lines I and P, and is between the stations of Myyrmäki and Martinlaakso. There are two platforms serving both north and southbound trains, one lift and a waiting room. Many local bus connections are available nearby. History The residential area of Louhela, built in Vantaa in the 1960s (then still known as Helsingin maalaiskunta), was designed to revolve around a metro station, placed in the intersection of the streets of Louhelantie and Uomatie. Helsinki Commuter Rail
Helsinki commuter rail ( fi, Helsingin seudun lähijunaliikenne, sv, Huvudstadsregionens närtrafik) is a commuter rail system serving Greater Helsinki and the surrounding county of Uusimaa. The system is a joint venture between the regional transport authority HSL and national railway operator VR. The system operates on four railway lines and comprises 13 services, all of which terminate at Helsinki Central Station. Within the HSL region, tickets and timetables are fully integrated with other modes of public transport. Four services extend into the operational area of VR commuter rail – tickets issued by VR are needed for journeys further north from Zone D. Both parties discontinued onboard ticket sales in 2017. Myyrmäki Railway Station
Myyrmäki (Finnish) or Myrbacka (Swedish) is a Helsinki commuter rail and bus station located in Vantaa, Finland. It is approximately north of Helsinki Central railway station. The station is served by circular lines I and P, and is between the stations of Malminkartano and Louhela. The station has two platforms, one for southbound and one for northbound trains. There is also a waiting room although ticket sales from the station have recently been discontinued. At the moment the nearest place for purchasing long distance tickets would be Pasila. The Myyrmanni Myyrmanni is a shopping center located at the Myyrmäki suburb of Vantaa, Finland. The center was built in the early 1990s and it has over 90 stores and 1,100 parking spaces. Myyrmäki ( sv, Myrbacka), literally meaning "Bog Hill", is a district and major region of the municipality of Vantaa, Finland. The district has an area of and a population of about 17,000, making it the most populous district in Vantaa. It is home to Myyrmanni, a large shopping complex. VR commuter rail ( fi, VR:n lähiliikenne, ) is a Finnish commuter rail system operated by VR – the national railway operator of Finland – under a public service obligation agreement with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Finland.
